Happy Anniversasy

Casey and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary yesterday!!!

We had a great time at dinner and got to try out Smoke!

The food was great and the company was even better (except when he was looking over my shoulder to try and see the score of the Florida State Game, boys!).
We've experienced so much in the last 4 years and can't wait to see what the future brings!!

What a surprise!

Look what I came home to today! It's not my birthday, valentines day, or our anniversary! I was told it was "just because". I can get use to this!

Casey's Creations- C3 Hanger

For Valentine's Day Casey made me a C3 Coat Hanger for our entry way! I LOVE IT!

Our stuff would find a way to be left on the floor near the front door.
This rustic C3 Hanger has answered all of our organizational needs for our entry way.

Colton made me a special heart for Valentine's Day.
 This girl feels loved!

Happy Valentine's Day in July!!!

I'm back!

So it has MONTHS since my last post. I will try and post more often. I realize friends and family check my posts to find out what we are up to in Oklahoma! So I'm starting over again today with blogging.

My first post after my blogging hiatus is about my recent 5k and running. For the last 12 weeks i have been running with a club Tuesday and Thursday nights. I have come a long way, however i still have A LONG way to go!

Our first week we ran for 1 min, and walked for 3. After 12 weeks we are now running for 5 and walking for 2; 6 times.

We ran our graduation race yesterday morning. The Bedlam 5K, it was sponsored by OSU and OU alumni association and put on by Tulsa's Fleet Feet.

The night before the race I put together my Race Dummy to make sure i had all i needed . This was recommended by our race coaches, that way we don't forget an important item the day of the race.

We met early to take a group picture of our graduating class.
( more pictures to come, once they have been posted online)

Then the race began at 7:30am. I finished, and I guess that is what matters; but i was hoping to do a bit better than I did. It just motivates me to keep going and try harder. I'm looking forward to running in cooler weather. I hope that will help.

This picture was taken just after we all finished! These are some of my friends from my running club.
Dawn, Tracey, Me, and Meridith
Without these girls running would not be as fun. They are always so positive and motivating.

We couldn't pass up the "photo booth" after the race as well.

Well it's good to be back to blogging. I will try to be better this time ( I feel like i say this a lot) and post pictures of what C3 is up to. It's always an adventure with us!

The Healing Cache

Well C3 is a bit obsessed with GeoCaching and have spent some part of the last 3 weekends look for treasure! This last weekend we even placed our own Cache for others to find.
We decided to leave a box near the Healing Stone.
Above are pictures of us looking for the perfect spot, and the hiding spot!

Today our first person visited our cache! Here is what they had to say:

I've been watching this cache the last few days wondering if someone would make the trip out for it. Today is one of the few days left on my "caching calendar" (due to last year's blizzard) so I got an early start and now sit enjoying sunrise from The Healing Stone, a local bit of history I may never have discovered had it not been for this geocache. Very nice hide with great coordinates and description. An excellent first hide.
I left a Pathtag and Travel Bug. Thank you for making today special and bringing me here.

We are thrilled that someone appreciates our first hide!
Now we are ready to hide more!!! Just have to find the perfect spot.

Casey's Creations- Pinterest Challenge- Key Ring Holder

We saw this on Pinterest a few weeks back.
We don't have a key ring holder but it's on my list of things to eventually buy.
I showed Casey this picture and he said "I can make that for you". I said "OK!"

Casey hit up the antique/junk store the town north of us and was able to find the right letters!
He got the K - E - Y - and the S for $6. He also purchased the hooks for $3. The rest of the supplies (wood and paint) he already had on hand. So for $9 we have an awesome key holder!

I like our design better than the original!
Did I mention I have a very handy husband??
