Watson Mill Bridge State Park- September 2010

C3 went to Watson Mill Bridge State Park in Comer,GA this weekend! This was our first camping trip as a family and we had a great time. Casey got there Friday afternoon to set up camp, and Colton and I joined him when later that night. Saturday we had perfect weather to explore the campground and see the sights. We went to the covered bridge, played in the water, played at the playground, and hiked the trails.

Campsite #9 was great. Close to the comfort station (flushing toilets, hot showers, and washer and dryer). The site was big enough for our camper, screen house, and there was even room for a tent if we had more people. If we were to go back, i think we would stay at campsite #9 again.
Foil dinners and toasted Marshmallows! Yummy!

Cool Tree. Number 4!

Harvest Longboard

Overall, we had a great weekend. Spent the perfect amount of time there. Other than the State Park, there is not much to do in Comer, GA. We are looking forward to our next camping trip. We hope to plan something in the next few weeks.
