Book Review- The Good Earth

"The Good Earth" by Pearl S. Buck is another classic that i felt i needed to read. It was about a mans journey through life as a Chinese farmer. I enjoyed the book. It wasn't one of those books that you just can't put down, but i liked it. I liked the main character and wanted to see good things happen to him and his family, so that had me going. Overall, it was a good classic book.

Master Bedroom and Bathroom Remodel

This last week my dad was in town. Him and Casey are in the process of turning the downstairs bedroom into the master bathroom. We are also retileing the kitchen. Painting everything, and adding a bedroom upstairs. It seems like a never ending process, but day by day we get closer to our goal. More pictures of the remodeling job to come!

Shoes!!!

Coltons first time wearing shoes. We didn't want him to get splinters on his feet while in his walker. He wasn't too sure what they were and was ready to take them off. But he was splinter free!
